i’ve used it.
Have to change the MLCC not available for one similar (hope)
80-C320C104M5U-TR
and change for Atmega1284
556-ATMEGA1284P-PU
Mouser is cheaper in europe than Farnell. (half price for µc)

I’m glad you got it together. Do you have any photos? That cap should be fine, any 0.1uF cap should do.
not at this time, i would had a “bed” (don’t know the word) between the proc and pcb… it was not in the list 🙁 .
and you, have you a photo of the board populating with components… to avoid mistakes 😉
